Donald Trump has “never crushed it” in Iowa as the former US president openly criticised Governor Kim Reynolds online this week, according to former White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney.
“He lost Iowa in 2016,” Mr Mulvaney told Sky News host James Morrow.
“So yeah, there is a chance he’s taking it for granted, there’s also a chance he recognizes that he doesn’t do great in groups of 10 and 20 people – he does great in groups of 10 and 20,000, but this is not his strength.”
