Phillip has a deep knowledge of Australia’s political, business and media landscape built over more than 30 years working in and around Parliament House, Canberra.
He is a former Executive Director and Chief of Staff of the Business Council of Australia, and has provided strategic policy engagement and stakeholder advice for government departments and agencies including Defence and Treasury.
A former President of the Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery, commentator and columnist on politics and economics, and writer of the authoritative Newspoll, Phillip has worked as the Political Bureau Chief of The Australian, The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and the Herald Sun - the only journalist to hold that position at all four publications.
As the Director of Government Relations for Bondi Partners Advocacy in Australia, Phillip champions for our clients’ business objectives with politicians from all sides of the aisle as well as senior bureaucrats and other critical stakeholders.
