Chelsey Martin

Few Australians rival Chelsey's expertise and experience navigating the U.S. policy, regulatory and commercial environments having worked at the highest levels of government and private sector.

Chelsey has spent more than two decades working with business and government across America and Australia, spanning media, diplomacy, strategic policy and trade and investment. Her breadth of experience has positioned her uniquely to lead Bondi Partners’ U.S. operations and head up the firm’s global strategic advisory business.

Prior to joining Bondi Partners, Chelsey served as Australia’s Consul-General in Los Angeles from 2015-2020, with responsibility for Australia’s relationship with the U.S. South West and the flagship public diplomacy, trade and investment program G’Day USA. This followed previous senior diplomatic roles, including in New York, Washington D.C. and Canberra. Earlier in her career Chelsey was a political journalist with The Australian Financial Review.
