Melissa Babbage

Melissa leads finance and operations for Bondi Partners Global, based in Sydney, and is an Investment Director at our 1941 Fund. She is also a Non Executive Director of Swiss Re Asia, Swiss Re Australia, Flirtey Inc, an Investment Committee Member on the Ord Minnett Private Opportunities Fund and a Governing Board member of St Albans School, Washington D.C.

Melissa has extensive experience chairing Investment, Risk and Audit Committees and before moving into Board positions, she enjoyed a long career in both international and domestic financial markets from 1992 to 2011. She spent more than a decade as a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, and in this capacity had roles as Head of Global Finance and Foreign Exchange A/NZ for Deutsche Bank Australia, Head of Commodities Asia-Pacific, and a member of the Global Executive team.

Melissa holds a MCom (Finance and Economics) from University of NSW and a BAppSc from Sydney University. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a member of Chief Executive Women.
