Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney says US House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy is a very “ground up” type of leader. “He spent two and a half hours two nights ago walking through the bill line by line with the members of Congress,” he told Sky News host James Morrow. “That’s never happened in my adult lifetime, leaders just don’t do that, information is currency in Washington DC – its power, and people don’t share information willingly most of the time – Kevin McCarthy did.”
