Sky News US Political Analyst Joe Hockey says JD Vance’s background will “appeal” to “blue-collar” workers.
This follows JD Vance’s first speech after Donald Trump announced him as his running mate.
“He is similar to Donald Trump on policy, but very different to Donald Trump on the life journey,” Mr Hockey told Sky News Australia.
“He does have a very powerful story that will appeal to the blue-collar workers that Donald Trump is reaching out to.”
