Prior to joining Bondi Partners, James undertook research at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), a defense and strategic policy think tank based in Canberra. At ASPI, he researched Chinese foreign policy in the Pacific and managed the ‘north and Australia’s security’ program, an initiative supported by the Northern Territory government. He has also worked for Sun Cable, the world’s largest solar energy infrastructure network, providing research and advice in the early stages of its development.
Before joining ASPI, James read for a Master’s of International Affairs at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, where he majored in security and sustainability. James holds a Bachelor of International and Global Studies from the University of Sydney and has studied abroad at Ludwig Maximillians Universität in Munich.
