Spring fellow
Before joining Bondi Partners, Franz served as a legislative intern in the United States Congress. In the Office of Representative Claudia Tenney (NY-22), he assisted the legislative staff craft amendments and legislation to advance Rep. Tenney’s foreign policy priorities in the House Foreign Affairs Committee. With Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), he aided the policy team researching policies related to housing, commerce, and trade. Franz also has Executive Branch and state-level experience, interning for the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation and the Office of the Governor of Illinois. 
 
Franz is a second-year Master’s student at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), studying international economics and strategic studies. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2021 with BAs in international studies and economics. He is also the Co-Founder and COO of the Hopkins Podcast on Foreign Affairs, a completely student-run podcast at John’s Hopkins University. Originally from Venezuela, he is also fluent in Spanish.
