Abbas joins Bondi Partners after three years in the New Zealand public sector, where he focused on higher education investment and the labor market. He is also a Fulbright scholar in the Security Studies Program at Georgetown University. Born in Afghanistan, raised in New Zealand, and having lived and worked in Singapore and the United Arab Emirates, Abbas brings international perspectives on a range of issues, including international security, trade, and the media landscape. He possesses a great sense of Kiwi humor and energy, and can be found training for ultramarathons, eating his way through DC’s food scene, or both.
